What we work on

  • Starting tasks, and finishing them
  • Time blindness, deadlines and being late
  • Planning a week you can actually follow
  • Email, paperwork and the admin pile
  • Work, school and household systems
  • Recovering when the system falls apart, which it will

Coaching inside therapy

Most ADHD coaches are not therapists. That matters when the reason you cannot start a task is shame, fear of criticism or burnout. Because I am a licensed therapist, we can work on the practical system and on whatever is getting in its way, in the same session.

How it works

We look at how your brain works and what has failed before, then build something simple and test it. We adjust it every week. The aim is a setup that survives a bad week, not a perfect routine.

Sessions are $180 for 60 minutes after a $200 initial assessment. I am in network with Anthem, Aetna and United through Alma, and provide superbills for other plans. See all fees.

Questions

Is ADHD coaching covered by insurance?

Coaching on its own usually is not. When it is part of therapy, it is included in your session.

Do I need a diagnosis?

No.

How is this different from a planner app?

We work out why things have not stuck before, and build around that.
